Psychologist
I am registered psychologist with over a decade of experience. My path to psychology began early. Growing up, I watched my mother navigate real struggles with a quiet resilience that stayed with me – and somewhere in that experience a curiosity was born about why people do what they do, how they carry what they carry, and what it takes to heal and grow. That curiosity never left. It shaped the way I work, the questions I ask and the deep respect I hold for anyone who walks through the door and decides to do something about their pain.
At the heart of my practice is a simple intention – to be a safe place. Somewhere you can arrive exactly as you are, without judgement, and begin the work of healing old hurts, reconnecting with yourself and finding a renewed sense of purpose and direction.
I work with adolescents (12 and over), adults and couples who are navigating a wide range of difficulties – from anxiety, depression, interpersonal conflict and trauma, to longstanding patterns and personality related concerns that feel hard to shift no matter how much you’ve tried.
Many of the people I work with have the sense that something deeper is going on beneath their symptoms – whether that’s a pattern that keeps repeating in relationships, emotions that feel overwhelming or impossible to access, a harsh inner critic that never seems to quiet, or a life that looks fine on the outside but feels disconnected or empty on the inside. Others are dealing with a specific challenge and want practical, structured support to work through it.
I tailor my approach to suit you – your goals, your history, and what’s most likely to help. Rather than applying a single method to everyone, I draw from a range of evidence-based therapies and blend them depending on what you’re working through:
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) for understanding and shifting unhelpful thought patterns and behaviours.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) for building psychological flexibility and reconnecting with what matters most to you.
Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) for developing skills around emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and relationships.
Radically Open DBT (RO DBT) for presentations involving overcontrol, rigidity, or a deep sense of loneliness despite appearing capable and composed.
Schema Therapy for exploring the deeper patterns rooted in early experiences that continue to shape how you feel, think, and relate to others.
Narrative Therapy
